Actian provides Actian Explorer, a data cataloging and discovery tool, to its customers that leverage the Actian Data Intelligence SaaS platform. Actian Explorer uses automated ranking and recommendation logic to personalize search results and suggest relevant datasets based on your usage and profile within the catalog. Explorer does not generate new content and does not use your data to create text, images, or other synthetic media. It is not a system requiring interaction or content-generation. This voluntary notice is provided for transparency.
You may contact Actian’s Data Governance/Support team to ask how Actian Explorer’s ranking and recommendation logic uses your profile, request an explanation of why a specific dataset was recommended to you, or opt out of personalized ranking in favor of standard, non-personalized search results. If you believe a dataset’s documentation or quality metrics shown in Actian Explorer are inaccurate, you may also flag them for correction by contacting Actian Communities.
Actian AI Analyst
Actian provides Actian AI Analyst, an AI-powered analytics assistant, to its customers. Your questions are answered by an automated system, not a human analyst. Analytical answers, reports, and recommendations are generated by artificial intelligence based on your organization’s governed data models within the Actian Data Intelligence Platform and should be reviewed before being relied on for decisions. Disclosure under Article 50 of the EU AI Act; this notice is provided to inform users of interaction with an AI system.
You may view the underlying joins, filters, and metric definitions behind any answer or report AI Analyst produces by selecting “Show Logic” or contacting Actian’s Support team through Actian Communities. You may request human review of any AI Analyst-generated report before it is used in a decision by contacting Actian. If you believe an AI Analyst answer or report is inaccurate or based on an incorrect definition, you may flag it for correction, and you may request that a specific question or dataset be excluded from AI Analyst’s conversational processing by contacting Actian through Actian Communities.
