On hand to help ISS Switzerland
ISS Switzerland was looking for a new back-office solution to underpin their payroll/ HR, accounting, invoicing and financial reporting needs. In the fast-paced and highly competitive market of facilities management, the company needed a strong, robust ERP system that ensured that local management could run their business in the most optimum way. Moreover, the local entity needed to ensure that it could report its financials back to their corporate business in a timely manner and meet all the financial reporting requirements on an international level, too.
Following an exhaustive tender process where ISS Switzerland evaluated many other solutions, the company chose to work with Syslog and implement their ERP solution: Syslog ERP. The solution is designed as a modular architecture and helps companies – including ISS Switzerland – to run and administer payroll/HR, accounting, invoicing, financial reporting, procurement and logistics.
Developed from the ground-up by Syslog, the solution is built using the Actian Ingres database and the Actian OpenROAD application development framework. As OpenROAD is a very object-oriented product, Syslog has created its own development framework for its own application development.
