Matthew D. Groves is a developer who turned his love of technology into a career spanning software engineering, developer advocacy, and product marketing. His professional coding journey began in the 1990s, when he built a QuickBASIC point-of-sale application for his parents’ pizza shop.
Today, Matthew is the Director of Product Management for Databases at Actian, where he helps shape the future of database technology.
When he's not thinking about databases or writing code, Matthew enjoys spending time with his family, cruising, cheering on the Cincinnati Reds, and running an ice cream shop in his home town in Ohio.
