Pradeep Muthalpuredathe is the VP of Engineering for Database Solutions at Actian. With three decades of leadership in cloud engineering, product management, and data platforms, Pradeep oversees the development of Actian’s relational, analytical, and hybrid database offerings. He is dedicated to building scalable, future-ready data infrastructure that simplifies how organizations around the world manage and unlock value from their data ecosystems.
Steffen Kläbe
Chief Researcher, Actian
Steffen Kläbe is Chief Researcher at Actian, where he develops research-driven perspectives on modern data management and AI-ready architectures. His work focuses on translating advanced database technologies into practical solutions for real-world AI systems.
He plays a key role in shaping Actian’s database and AI roadmap, contributing to innovations such as in-database machine learning, vector search, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG). He works closely with engineering, product, and partners to bring these capabilities into production environments.
John Lengyel
Informix Chief Architect, HCL Informix®
John (JC) Lengyel, Chief Architect at HCL Informix, is a seasoned database expert with over three decades of experience shaping Informix into a high-performance, secure, and reliable solution. His deep understanding of Informix’s inner workings has been instrumental in driving its continued adoption and innovation. By consistently listening to customer feedback and implementing their insights, JC has played a pivotal role in enhancing Informix’s capabilities and ensuring its prominence for decades to come.
Scott Norris
Partner Sales Engineer, Actian
Scott is an accomplished IT professional with over 30 years of experience spanning program management, solutions architecture, and engineering. He leads workshops and supports clients in designing robust data management strategies for HCL Informix and the Actian Data Intelligence Platform.
Doug Dailey
Director of Product Management, Enterprise Database Solutions, Actian
Douglas Dailey is Director of Product Management for Actian’s cloud and on-prem databases, tools, and connectivity solutions. Over 15 years, Doug has built data virtualization platforms and steered technology investments in IBM Netezza, DB2 Replication, and Informix. He’s led sessions at major data events (e.g., IBM’s Think conference) and authored Whitepapers on data hub and data fabric topologies.
