Jean-Georges Perrin is a distinguished data expert with nearly 30 years of leadership in the Informix community. A Lifetime IBM Champion and former 15-year veteran of the IIUG Board of Directors, he has been a global advocate for Informix innovation across three continents. Currently serving in Actian’s CTO Office, Jean-Georges focuses on AI strategy and chairs the Linux Foundation’s Bitol project, where he leads the development of open standards for data contracts and products. An accomplished author of several industry-standard books, he continues to drive the evolution of data architecture while maintaining a deep-rooted commitment to the Informix ecosystem.
