By Pamela Fowler November 13, 2019 Learn about the new way to engage Support Services at Actian We are delighted to introduce the “Live Chat” feature, which was embedded in “Actian Communities” on November 11, 2019. It is a complete chat solution that enables instant chat support with Actian subject matter experts. Each chat request will be directed to the right subject matter expert, based on the Top-Level Product you choose when initiating the chat. Note that in the chat widget, you will see only the Top-Level Products that you own, instead of a long list of all Actian products. Answers can be delivered in real-time and a case will be automatically created with each live chat request. The Chat Transcript will be tied to the case created via Live Chat. The transcript will contain details about the time chat was initiated, the time it was accepted by the Actian Expert, and the actual conversation between the Actian Expert and the authenticated customer. We believe that real-time chat will improve the customer experience and provide quicker resolutions to inquiries. Please note this feature is only available to logged-in users.
