We understand that although Actian is providing Avalanche free for six months, your investment of time and technical resources is an investment on the part of your organization and we appreciate it. Likewise, we will be providing field engineering support backed by our core Avalanche engineering team. To optimize your use of these resources, we will need a designated technical point of contact. The purpose of this program is to perform proofs of concept and 8 AUs (Avalanche Units) of compute provides sufficient horse power to handle complex queries with multiple concurrent users against typical, multi-terabyte workloads. However, if you need to scale up further, discounted AUs can be secured.
